Hayden Ross, PLLC is a locally owned, independent, full-service CPA firm located in Moscow, Idaho. Since 1938, the firm has served a diversity of business, individuals, not-for-profit organizations and governmental entities throughout northern Idaho and eastern Washington.
We have been serving the community of Moscow and the Palouse since 1938, when the firm was founded by John F. Hayden. He was later joined by Patton Ross. We have intentionally restricted our practice area, believing that this approach allows us to maintain more personal contact with our clients.
In January 1999, we made the decision as a firm to take the educational and legal steps necessary to become registered as investment advisors in order to provide the investment portfolio administration that was being requested by our clients. In order to provide structure for our services, we created Palouse Investment Advisors (currently HRC Wealth Management, LLC) to separate these services from the accounting, tax, and consulting services we presently provide through Hayden Ross, PLLC. The professional staff in both companies remains the same, and most professionals of Hayden Ross, PLLC have become registered investment advisors and provide services through HRC Wealth Management, LLC.
We provide a wide variety of accounting services including tax, auditing, and investment advisory services. Our auditing services are primarily for not-for-profit organizations, governmental entities, and agricultural-related industries. In addition, we have expertise in the area of computerized accounting services.
In order to maintain our firm’s quality of service, we became one of the first accounting firms in the State of Idaho to join the Private Companies Practice Section (PCPS) of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA). As part of that process, we have undergone quality control reviews by the AICPA. Our firm has remained active in state accounting societies, with Jack Hayden, Pat Ross, Jim Pilcher, and Brad Lewis serving terms as president of the Idaho Society of Certified Public Accountants.
Over the past several years, we have experienced little to no turnover in our staff and partner structure. Having continuity in our engagements is a benefit to working with Hayden Ross, PLLC. You can feel confident that you will be working with the same individuals on an annual basis.
